Will Satan Use Covid 19 to Divide the Church?
There has been a line drawn at the Altar and many Ministers are voicing divisive opinions concerning the state of the church. Pastors that close their church are being criticized for lacking the faith that God will protect His people, while those that still hold services are being accused of wanting every dollar they can get. Is it really that easy to divide the church? Or were we ever the ONE Body of Christ that the Word of God teaches us to be? It seems that those who closed the doors did so in an effort to protect their congregation from being infected and exposed to this pandemic that is sweeping across the world. It takes extreme faith to believe God will sustain your ministry in the areas of finances and membership without holding a physical service. Just as remaining open could very well be a ministry operating in pure obedience to the Lord. Paul speaks of divers of spiritual gifts. It seems logical that God would have us all moving in diver ways. I know, I know, you’re saying we should all be moving the same way. Consider if we all are being obedient to what God is saying, then we all moving the same direction toward Him. Whether online service, prayer lines or small groups the Word of God should be going forth without believers attacking believers. Let us not give the enemy room to tear down the church from within. The world needs the us to be the church Not made with hands now more than ever. Sr. Pastor Chris McKinney iEncounter Church Houston GospelRadioNation.com |
